My name is Jack Davis. I am a 22 year old DJ hailing from the suburbs of Philadelphia. I go by the DJ name DJ SEV ONE. Here's why: On July 17th, 2001, my father was killed in an explosion at an oil refinery in Delaware. I came up with the name SEV ONE because my dad passed on the 17th of the month. SEV ONE translates into the day my dad passed away (one seven) backwards. Even though I only had 9 years with my dad, i use him as an inspiration in everything I do. I am a college student majoring in Communications. I am also a music producer who has worked with artists like Travis McCoy, Joe Budden, Reef The Lost Cauze, Tyga and many others. I'm a current Resident DJ as well at Parx Casino every single Friday. I'm a down to earth, well-rounded person and I hope you enjoy my story.
